Introduction

The MT2713 Rural Line Module is a sealed, environmentally protected unit designed to provide bonding of the moisture barrier and the unused pairs of a rural lead-in cable and any guard wire, for surge protective purposes.

Features

Rural connection module used for termination of up to 9 spare cable pairs. The module includes a separate earthing terminal for the bonding of the cable moisture barrier and guard wire conductors. Used in conjunction with up to three DSL/Standard Line modules.

• Unused rural cable pair connections utilize gel-sealed IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) terminations which accept 0.4mm to 0.64mm solid copper wire.

• Each rural cable can be terminated without disturbing previous connections.

• Clear IDC rockers enable easy visual connection verifi cation.
