FeaturesEthernet over coax is a unique product that enables full duplex Ethernet traffic on the inner conductor of existing coaxial cables. The technology enables customers to upgrade their existing analogue CCTV installation to full IP without replacing coaxial cabling.
The Technetix UCA-6124 has cXcomm 100 technology that carries data and power over the coax and is combined with PoE to create four 802.3af compliant Ethernet ports in the far end of the coax. Multiple cameras can be installed in the far end of existing coax.
