The MT9611x-xx series high power single mode EDFA is characterized with low noise, high linearity. It offers a flexible, lowcost solution for CATV large area coverage of metropolises and medium-sized cities. The MT9611x-xx series is equipped with complete APC, AGC, ATC control, excellent design for heat-dispersion which guarantees long lifetime and stable operation of the PUMP laser. RS232 and RJ45 ports on the rear panel offer serial communication and an SNMP network interface. The wide LCD displays all the parameters of the whole unit and alarms. The laser automatically switches off if optical power is missing. All of the optical outputs are located on the rear panel.
The MT9611x-xx series adopts single mode pump, EDF and multi-pump integration technology. Optimized for low noise, it allows for clear transmission of video, voice and data signals. The MT9611x-xx noise figure and reliability is higher than that of Double-clad Yb/Er Amplifiers.
