Introduction
The CAP 002 is a line level pre-amplifier fitted in a robust plastic case.
Features
- Can be powered with a simple 12 ~ 24v DC adaptor or 24v AC from a camera
- Ideal for situations where the microphone needs to be sent directly to a camera or DVR
- Also very useful when microphone level input is not available
- Uses barrier strips for quick termination

Connect Phase - (Cold) to screw terminal 4 on connector "PL2" |

If more headroom is required to avoid microphone distortion the resistor R5 should be changed:
1K as supplied gives minimum headroom
2K gives approximately 6dB more headroom
3.9K gives approximately 12dB more headroom
18.2K gives approximately 18dB more headroom
100K gives maximum headroom (microphone level) |
