IntroductionThe ETS PV990 Series HD-SDI Splitter is a passive, versatile and easy-to-use video splitter designed for both studios and on-location productions, as well as live performance venues. The HD-SDI Splitter can be used for monitoring in a wide variety of installations and locations.
The PV991 HD-SDI Splitter is designed to split a SMPTE 292M video signal into two full-quality broadcast video signals and send them over RG59 coax up to 450 feet. The two FBNCs can passively split the signal and send the HD-SDI video signal out the ‘out’ FBNC to video monitors or other digital devices up to 450 feet.* (*based on Belden® cable).
The ETS PV992 model features a front-facing FBNC monitor port, making it quickly and easily accessible for rapid testing in a rack-mount configuration. Up to 16 units can be placed in a standard 2 unit high rack-mount panel. Units can be added on an “as needed” basis.
